Imaginal Realms

Imagination is how the soul speaks to us. For centuries, shamans and mystics have worked with what they call the imaginal realms or inner landscapes that hold wisdom, symbols, and guidance.

These are not fantasy worlds to escape into, but living realities that connect us to meaning and to the deeper layers of our own being.

Embodied Imagination

In this class, we use movement to explore imagination as an embodied practice. As we move, images arise in forms of memories, symbols, archetypes.

Through simple guided practices, we give these images form in gesture, posture, and flow. This is a process Jung called active imagination, a way of letting inner images express themselves so we can learn from them.

Fantasy vs. Imagination

One of the most important distinctions is between fantasy and imagination:

• Fantasy takes us away from reality.
• Imagination roots us more deeply into it.

By moving with imagination, we invite insight, creativity, and a sense of connection to the unseen layers of life.

This class is for anyone who feels curious about exploring movement as a way to listen more deeply to yourself, your soul, and the wisdom that comes through images.

What is a movement class?

Movement classes offer personal development through movement. Each session encourages a connection with your body, explores emotions, and accesses the wisdom of your soul.

By integrating mindful embodied practices and conscious dance, these classes promote holistic integration, emotional release, authenticity, and inner harmony.

Movement practices have their roots in body-centered psychotherapy and have evolved over the years to incorporate various techniques aimed at emotional regulation and expression.

These practices include:
•Structured Movement and Breathing Exercises
•Conscious Dance and Shamanic Dance •Storytelling, Meditation, and Embodied Imagination
•Authentic Movement
